Hello and welcome to LoLoi! I hope you enjoy reading, watching my video works and listen to my music. Get yourself a cup of tea (or coffee) and let me tell you more about who I am. I'll keep it short, I promise.

I am Andrei Ratiu, a 29 years old motion graphics artist, video editor and sometimes music composer. LoLoi is how my close friends call me, so yes, I turned my nickname into my personal brand.

My academic background is in International Economics. However, after 4 years at university I concluded that a job at a front desk in a finaincial institution is just not for me. It looked so nice when I started the university but shortly after I graduated I realized I really was not built for that type of career. So I decided to change.

In 2010 I finished studying Video Editing and Motion Graphics in Turin, Italy and then I decided to specialize in After Effects. In my work I use After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop and Illustrator where needed.

LoLoi came online in summer 2010 when I decided to go freelance. Why? Because it's much more convenient both for me and for my clients. My academic background and my 2+ years of working experience as Project Manager help me provide my clients with works that are designed to engage audiences. I am happy to combine my knwoledge with my video skills for my clients.

I create professional videos for companies, organizations and individuals. I have a track record of delivering high level video post-production services, animations, broadcast commercials, videos for web/TV/events, so whether you want a video created from scratch or have a large script I can provide the best final result with a mind to cost-control.

In summer 2011 I moved back to Romania and this allows me to offer and maintain very competitive rates for my services. I am constantly investing in working equipment and stay up to date with the trends in the video industry thanks (but not limited) to the project-based colaborations with video production agencies in EU and the USA.

I am a curious person, I love to experience new techniques in my work, I love making new styles of videos - I find it challenging. Once in a while I make charitable videos to support a person, a cause or an organization and a portion of my music sales made through this website goes to charitable organizations that supports education for children and young people. I personally embrace the belief that knowledge is the best charity.
